Quick-Write; Story Starter: Suddenly, His Phone Rang...

How To Draw Wings Of Fire Dragons Nightwing - Learn How to Draw

If you were wondering why the title was so long or the "suddenly, his phone rang" part, here is a little exclamation about what I'm doing. We got to choose a story starter to write a quick story, so I chose "suddenly, his phone rang". We got to choose what the story was about so mine was 100% about dragons.  Here is my quick story down below, I hope you like it.

Suddenly, his phone rang. When I say phone, I mean his dream-visitor. It was flashing and vibrating all over his bed, leaves and feather wrinkling under the sapphira. Starkeeper was mumbling tiredly after being woken up from his deep snooze. He looked up at the night sky, only two of the three moons were visible that night, but still bright. The moons gleam reflected off of Starkeeper's dark grey scales, turning them a beautiful silver colour. He took his gaze off the stars and turned his head to look down at the sapphira dream-visitor, thinking whether or not to place it in his talons. What if it is my sister? What if she has found a way to communicate to me? He finally thought of his decision. His talons twiched towards the dream-visitor, slowly grasping it in his hands.

Nightgazer?

"Hello, Starkeeper."

Starkeeper dropped the dream-visitor from his forehead in shock to hear an unfamiliar voice. It was definitely not Nightgazer. That was a male dragon who spoke to him through the dream-visitor. Starkeeper wasn't even sure that he had met a male dragon besides his father, now peacefully in his grave, taken away from Starkeeper by the horrid war. Starkeepers father fought hard in the war, not hard enough. As Starkeeper thought about his father, tears rolled down his cheeks. Stupid war...

Quick-Write; Sentence Starter: Today Was Just an Ordinary Day...

If you were wondering why the title was so long or the "today was just an ordinary day" part, here is a little exclamation about what I'm doing. We had to write a quick story starting with the sentence starter "today was just an ordinary day". We got to choose what the story was about but we had only 30 minutes to write it.  Here is my quick story down below, (P.S, it is not finished).

Today was just an ordinary day. Two twin Sandwing dragonets were rolling around in the desert sand, their scales glistening in the sunlight. They were clawing and kicking at each other, fighting over who got to eat the last scavenger in the Kingdom of Sand. The tall one Mirage, was the one who started the fight as he was the dragon who caught it in the first place. His twin Cactus, had tried to attack a scavenger den once, losing his barbed tail in the progress. "Ouch!" Cried Cactus, "just because my name is Cactus, doesn't mean I'm immune to them!" Cactus got up, rubbing his underbelly and picking out thorns. "I'll do it again if you don't give me my prey." Replied Mirage with a grin on his face. "Grrrr. Oh alright" said Cactus, handing over the scavenger. Mirage snached it out of Cactus's talons and ate it in one bite, sending bits of slobber out of his jaw. Just as Cactus was walking away, Mirage bumped into him, knocking him back into the cactus.

Cactus was sure he did that on purpose, he was going to tell mother. First he was going to push Mirage into a cactus, then he will know how it felt. As Cactus approached the heavily guarded doors to the kingdom, he hadn't spotted Mirage. Maybe he is hiding, he thought to himself. He scanned the kingdom for Mirage, failing to find him. As he was searching for his twin, 3 Skywing solder's, a crimson one, a bright red one and a orange one, were watching him, holding Mirage prisoner, knocked out in their grasp. "Okay Mirage," called Cactus. " I give up. you can come out now!" He hoped Mirage would listen. Suddenly, an orange Skywing pounced out of his hiding place, grabbing Cactus in his talons. "Help!" Cactus shrieked, clawing and biting the skywing. "Someone hel-!" The solder had smacked Cactus hard in the back of the head, knocking him out along with Mirage.

As he gained consciousness, he felt cold wind blowing up against his back. As he slowly opened his eyes he saw Mirage on the opposite pillar to him. The wind, pillars and lack of sand suddenly told him where he had arrived, he was in the Kingdom of Sky...

🐧Pengon🐉

 🐧Pengon🐉

I am writing this poem because in my writing workshop, we had to do a poem, using different ending punctuation, about a penguin turning into a dragon. It was really fun to write so I decided to share it with everyone through my blog.

I was just a normal penguin, short fluffy and bland,
while yesterday (on May the 1st) is when my adventure began!

It started in the ocean, catching lots of fish,
to bring and place on my brothers and sisters dish.

Then the strangest thing happened, would you know,
that on a sunny beach it started to snow?

We all grew cold because we lived in a tire,
then all of a sudden, out of my beak, came a sprout of fire!

Next horns sprouted out of my head,
I thought by sundown I'd be dead!

If you thought that was it, you are wrong,
my wings surprisingly grew too long?

My beautiful feathers started to fall,
and as scales grew back I started to crawl.

My brothers were scared, my sisters were too,
they started to run from me boo-hoo!

I told them to stop, my voice sounds like roars,
but they continued to run from me some more.

My mouth was no longer a pointed beak,
it was now a snout, spiked, long and sleek.

People were screaming out on the streets,
as my calls echoed like thunder beats!

I grew in size, as tall as a tower,
my breath smelt like a penguin who hadn't had a shower.

My scales were still black with a blue-ish shine,
armies started sounding alarms that sounded like horrid chimes.

I flapped my wings to get out of this mess,
I started to fly so I called out "YES!"

I hid behind an old stone fountain,
while underneath me grew a mountain.

It engulfed the fountain, along with me,
while when i'm knocked out I turn into a tree!

That is why if you look around,
there is not a single dragon to be found...
